2011 - What does it hold?

It is evident that the property market in general has slowed towards the end of 2010 although serious sellers have adjusted their price accordingly and the not so serious have taken their homes off the market.  Many sales have been agreed over the past few weeks proving that educated sellers are responding to buyers by being realistic with their asking price or offers they are accepting.

2011 is in some peoples view "unpredictable".  One fact that is very important to consider is that the drop in stock towards the end of the year has left little quality choice on the market meaning that if you are sensible and realistic with your asking price, your chances of selling remain strong.

Badgers Wood - SOLD

If you considering moving in 2011 then subject to the variances of snowfall and the British weather, the early part of the year may prove an excellent time to sell your home as many potential sellers wait until Spring before considering marketing their home.  This will lead to more choice for buyers where as January and February could prove to be the better time to achieve maximum value.
